Casey Singleton
I am a ’01 graduate from UO with Bachelors of Arts degrees in English Literature and Latin. My love of literature led me at an early age to initially pursue a career in academics, teaching and/or writing. On the verge of my college graduation, and with the prospect of teaching high school Latin before me, a desire to compete in the business arena prompted me to suddenly change courses. Within days of my college commencement I was employed by a national mortgage bank, and my career as a mortgage lender was born. With eight years of industry experience under my belt, I have seen first-hand the wild swings of our economy. I have helped my clients enjoy the prosperity of the good economic climates and have weathered the storm through the bad ones. I consider it a badge of honor that my business continues to thrive after enduring the hardships that have caused other lenders to close their doors. It is my belief that a commitment to excellence, honesty and integrity has been the cornerstone that has allowed me to remain strong through the challenges. When I’m not on the clock I pride myself on a broad range of diverse interests. I am still an avid reader and literature enthusiast. I am constantly spoiled by Portland’s vibrant live music scene. A huge sports fan, I am a long-time Ducks football season-ticket holder and love cheering my team at Autzen. During the spring and summer months I love taking advantage of the great camping and hiking we have at our disposal here in Oregon. It’s my hope to earn your trust and business, and I look forward to the opportunity to work with you.
